Happy Easter from DKNY with love (and eggs)…

On Thursday, I was kindly invited by DKNY to their first London vs. New York Easter egg hunt and my first ever Easter egg hunt…

The rules: 15 clues were sent via twitter. Once the members of the New York or London team had found an easter bunny, we were to tweet a picture of the bunny and product found with it to DKNY PR girl.  It kicked off from 3pm. The whistle blew and the chosen few (7 of us) ran around like crazy people amongst the very civilised DKNY Bond street customers - It was such fun. We searched across 2 floors. I gave the single file escalators a miss when I saw Bunnipunch, Prince Cassius and Clotheshorse90 having a near punch up on it :). Watching them trying to get ahead of each other in the narrow space was a crack up and they were cracking up too...So, I hoisted up my maxi dress and took the stairs – everytime!

We searched in good spirits, however competitive, we laughed the whole way through with the ultimate goal of beating the New York team of fashionistas.

The team - err strategising!?!
More strategising..
To cut a long story short, After a bit of glitch from the London team (don’t ask) Blogger/PR girl Bunnipunch and Stylist Emily Jerman eventually tied and won the London prize for finding the most bunnies and the London team tied with New York(ummmmm!) on the collective finds. I was sure London won, anyway...The beauty of this DKNY hunt was that we all won prizes; a huge bag full of Thorntons Eggs, fabulous DKNY sunglasses and a watch!!

Winners all round for sure...

Lastly, a huge thank you to DKNY, Liza and Ginny of Purple PR and Store Director Guiseppe for the invite and for using social media in such a clever, innovative and fun way. I’m sure this was a first, and a memorable Easter for me...
